This a very easy and tasty recipe with a Maui flare that we cook on Weber gas grills in Kamaole Sands. We buy a 5-6 pound pack of pork loin back ribs from Costco and a bottle of Maui Mountain Sweet ‘n Sour Sauce from Safeway. You also need salt and pepper.
|
- Preheat the grill for medium-high heat. Salt and pepper the back ribs to taste.
- Put the back ribs on the grill, close the lid and grill on one side for 3-4 minutes.
- Turn over the back ribs and baste the grilled side with Maui Sauce. Close the lid of the grill.
- Every 3-4 min open the lid, turn over the back ribs and baste them with the sauce. Then close the lid again.
- Repeat #4 several times until the ribs are well done – about 20 min cooking, or ½ a bottle of sauce used.
- Cut and serve.
