June 16, 2007 My two sons and I went to Pita Paradise for lunch. It is located in Kalama Village in Kihei, near Foodland. The place opens for lunch at 11 am, and we were the first visitors. We ordered fish kabob with rice, salad in pita with rice, and Kalua pork pita. Those three portions cost $25, and they were not too big. Pita was great, the food was well prepared and tasty, salad was fresh with tasty vinaigrette. My 6-year old son liked the dressing so much, that I ended up buying another small salad for him, and he ate it all.
Overall we all liked the food and the place. They would definitely benefit from adding some ceiling fans on the deck. We were there a bit early for trade winds, and later in the day the place probably gets more air movement.
