About Us

Our easy-to-use and innovative online reservation and content management system helps vacation rental owners establish a stand-out Internet presence and effectively rent their properties.

My husband Igor and I are software engineers. We fell in love with Maui, and bought our first condo in 2002. Since then we added another Maui condo and a house in Lake Tahoe to our rental portfolio.

We enjoy traveling to Maui and Lake Tahoe, buying stuff for our vacation rentals, renting out and making friends with our guests. But there is one aspect of the rental business, that is very boring and tedious, and that’s managing of the reservations and advertisement. To get the rentals occupied, I advertise a lot. Then come inquiries, and many of them. Each has to be replied to, and when finally those are sifted through and some good reservations are found, there come contracts, deposits, balances, questions and answers, cancellations (fortunately not often), and the rest of the tedious and meticulous management work.

When we started to rent our Tahoe house, we realized the need to optimize our processes somehow to speed up the management, take fears of double-bookings and mistakes out of the picture, and just free up more time.

What We Do

Availability calendar

1) Management. We are writing an online reservation system, that also includes listing management and elements of ad management. We personally use this system all the time, it’s very original and tailored to our needs. Other owners who use it find it great. There are features, that are not easily found somewhere else, like integration of other external calendars, email and contract templates, reservation reminders, generation of html ads for posting on Craigslist or ad services, etc.

2) Listing. Attractively designed rental property listing is free-for-life. It includes up to 20 photographs, inquiry form that embeds your availability calendar, inquiry history, separate areas to describe your property, amenities, rates, rental policies, house rules, and more.

We invite you to experience the difference of Maui Forum, a unique site designed and built for owners, by owners. We use this blog to post about Mauiforum features. We both have other jobs, developing this system in our free time, so the development is somewhat slow, but the system is very unique in that everything is geared towards efficiency of the reservation process from start to finish.

How To Join

Joining our rental listings and management is easy. We ask you for your name and email, and then your desired login name and password. That completes the registration, and you can create your rental listing.
